A staple of Mediterranean cuisine, the eggplant has to be one of the most striking vegetables there is. This beautiful Bed Threads dinner plate shows it inside and outthe glossy deep purple of the skin, the seeded, spongey flesh and its naturally curved silhouette.

Trimmed in a classic dark green, use this plate to serve up eggplant-laden dishes like Pasta alla Norma or eggplants stuffed with spiced rice. Or, just enjoy the simple beauty of it and display on your table alongside some crusty bread for a simply delicious setting.
